Step 1: Identify Your Watch's Lug Width
Unlike Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy and Garmin watches can use a standard lug width system — the band attaches via two lugs on either side of the case, and the width between them determines which band fits your watch. Check the back of your watch, the original packaging, or your model's spec sheet for the lug width in millimetres.
Step 2: Samsung Galaxy Watch — 20mm vs 22mm Quick Release
Samsung Galaxy Watch bands use a Quick Release pin system, which lets you swap bands without any tools — simply slide the lever and the band pops free. The lug width varies by model:
- 20mm Quick Release — fits the Galaxy Watch 4 (40mm & 44mm), Galaxy Watch 5 (40mm & 44mm), Galaxy Watch 6 (40mm & 44mm), Galaxy Watch 7 (40mm & 44mm), and Galaxy Watch FE. This is the most common size across the standard Galaxy Watch lineup.
- 22mm Quick Release — fits the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra. If you have a larger or "Pro" / "Classic" model, this is likely your size.
